Institute of Photonics and Electronics of the Czech Academy of Sciences opens a position for Research assistant or PhD student in the field of spectral characterization of rare-earth-doped glass materials and optical fibers. The research will include analysis of energy transfer processes between rare-earth ions and their use in numerical modeling of fiber lasers.
Requirements: Master degree in quantum optics and optoelectronics, laser physics, or spectroscopy
