“My most important motivation in applying for PhD studies at CERGE-EI was my never-ending desire to know more in economics and quantitative methods in economics. In the future I want to work in research and to work on really interesting topics in economics, which require higher knowledge in quantitative methods. To achieve this goal I decided to enroll in the program in Economics and Econometrics. I expect that after two years of really intensive study at CERGE-EI, I will be able to define my own research ideas, and with the skills I acquire during my studies, I will be able to produce high quality research in the field of financial markets.”
