Josef Ehm
Josef Ehm (1909–1989), a leading Czech photographer and teacher at the State School of Graphic Arts in Prague. He edited the periodical Fotografický obzor [Photographic Horizon] together with the photographer Jaromír Funke.
During the course of the year 1982, Prof. Ehm collected and donated to the Institute of Art History, Academy of Sciences of the Czech Republic, those of his photographs that had previously been published in art history literature, for example in the books Vojtěch Volavka, J. V. Myslbek, Praha 1942, Albert Kutal, České gotické sochařství 1350 – 1450 [Czech Gothic Sculpture 1350 – 1450], Praha 1962, and České gotické umění [Czech Gothic Art], with an introduction by Jaroslav Pešina, Praha 1977; in the monograph Oldřich J. Blažíček, Ferdinand Brokof, Praha 1976; and in the book Jaromír Neumann, Český barok [Czech Baroque], Praha 1969, etc.
