Dear Alumnus/Alumna,

As we follow your career paths, we are constantly reminded of CERGE-EI's accomplishments and we thank you for your support. We have seen our programs and research output grow, helping us to maintain our position as a leading educational institute in the region.

In 2015 we strove even more to strengthen relations among the entire CERGE-EI community, especially with our alumni. It has been pleasure to see so many of you participating in events such as:

• Distinguished Speakers Series, including the special  lecture by Nobel Laureate Finn Kydland
• Alumni Event in London for UK Alums co-organized by the Legatum Institute and the European Bank for Reconstruction and Development titled "The Shadow Economy – Impact on Innovation, East and West"
• Social events like the Graduation Gala and the International Food Party

There are many ways in which alumni can continue to support CERGE-EI. This support not only shapes the future for its new generation of students, but also helps keeping the value of your past days there. We would kindly ask you to consider supporting CERGE-EI’s development by taking part, sharing your ideas or through a donation.

Take Part or Volunteer

You can take part by attending some of the CERGE-EI events (such as Distinguished Speaker Series or Graduation Gala), or an alumni event. Join us during one of our Open Days and discuss with students who consider studying at CERGE-EI, or simply recommend CERGE-EI when you feel it relevant. You can help us make new connections with the institution that you are currently working for, or assist our students in finding new opportunities in your field.

Ideas or Feedback

We all know that even a quick glimpse from the outside sometimes sees more than a thorough introspection. Let us know what you see. We strive to keep CERGE-EI a lively, competitive graduate school, showing how powerful a good education can be. Your opinion is vital to us.

Support the CERGE-EI Alumni Fund

There are several ways how you can contribute financially: you can make a donation individually, or you can donate together as a class. You may decide to support current students, or sponsor a project improving the quality of their study experience, or even a particular campus refurbishment. These are all just suggestions so please do get in touch with us for further details. We will do our best to match your intentions with the present situation at CERGE-EI, so you could choose where your money should help. 

You can also donate to the Alumni Fund immediately via paypal below. Donations can be made to the US CERGE-EI Foundation (in USD) or to the Czech Nadace CERGE-EI (in CZK or EUR). We will provide confirmation of donations if required for taxation purposes. Your contribution will be highly appreciated and help us push forward with our mission and reach an even higher level of excellence.
