The department is devoted to research in theoretical as well as applied problems, while providing comprehensive support of interdisciplinary biomedical research and contributing to the implementation of information-based medicine.
Our Research Area
The research in the fields of biostatistics and medical informatics is devoted to a number of tasks, which are motivated by practical problems in various areas of medicine, mainly:
- Statistical analysis of data in medicine (biostatistical modelling)
- Reduction of complexity of multivariate data
