ABOUT

The discussion at the workshop will centre around the book Inferentialism: Why Rules Matter but original papers addressing any aspect of inferentialist philosophy are welcome (including those critical of the inferentialist doctrine).

Details concerning Jaroslav Peregrin's book are available at the publisher's site.

A few slots are available for contributed papers. We invite submissions for 30 minute talks (plus 10 minutes discussion). The abstracts (between 400 and 800 words) should be submitted in the pdf format and prepared for a blind review. They should be sent to: This email address is being protected from spambots. INFO FOR PARTICIPANTS

Accommodation

A limited number of rooms for the participants is available at the conference site Villa Lanna (the reservations must be made via the on-line registration form and will be handled on the first come first serve basis). Double/single rooms with en suite bathroom in the 'bungalows' in the garden of the Villa Lanna plus a few rooms directly in the Villa with shared bathrooms (2000 CZK per night in double room; 1300 CZK per in single, 1500 CZK one person in a double room). All prices include breakfast.

Other possibilities of accommodation not far from the conference site include:

Cheap accommodation can be purchased in several hostels of the Czech Technical University.


Conference fee

The conference fee 50 EUR applies to participants presenting contributed papers and to participants not presenting a paper. Students as well as scholars from countries with underfunded academic institutions can apply for exemption from the fee.
