1996 Ph.D. in Microbiology at the Prague Institute of Chemical Technology (study and expression of Mason-Pfizer monkey virus proteins).
1992 M.Sc. Graduated from Institute of Chemical Technology, Prague (specialisation in Enzyme Engineering. Diploma thesis: Inhibitors of HIV-1 and HIV-2 proteinases).
 
Experience
1996-1998 Postdoctoral fellow with Prof. Eric Hunter at University of Alabama at Birmingham - virology (study of retroviruses: HIV, M-PMV; 3 months).
