Register your photos in the 3rd year of the photo contest Photogenic Science. Scientists from the Czech Academy of Sciences can register their photos until the 1st July 2016.
The project "Photogenic Science" wants to prove that science is a journey to knowledge and it
wishes to show science as photogenic beauty that has the ability to attract people by its
achievements. The aim is to highlight artistic and aesthetic dimensions of science as a special
by-product of research.
The main objective of the project is to involve all the workers of all the institutes of the CAS
and encourage them to send in their photos. The selected pictures will be exhibited during the
"Week of Science and Technology of the CAS 2016". Besides, a jury of arbiters will select the
photos to be published in the 2017 calendar of the of the CAS, which can in this way present Czech
science to the partners of the CAS.
