On the 30th May 2016 the Otto Wichterle Award 2016 was given by the President of the Cezch Academy of Sciences, prof. Jiri Drahos.
Jiri Drahos awarded twenty young scientists who have successfully fulfilled an important scientific task. Among awarded scintists was also Dr. Michael Komm from the COMPASS Tokamak.
