The laboratory is located in the Aerodynamic Laboratory in Nový Knín. The mission of the laboratory is to conduct research on compressible transonic flow past planar and radial turbine or compressor blade cascades, vibrating profiles and compressible flow in ejectors, valves and other internal flow aplications. High speed compressible flow fields are investigated by means of optical (interferometry, schlieren pictures) and pneumatic methods.
