Novel, fast synthetic approaches towards diverse heterocyclic compounds are of great importance for the synthesis of advanced materials as well as the efficient preparation of majority of remedies. The main objective of this project will be the development of new synthetic pathways towards various heterocyclic compounds using hetaryne precursors. The essential part of the study will be the preparation of appropriate highly substituted heterocycles as suitable precursors for hetaryne generation and their application in the synthesis of novel heterocyclic compounds with potential application in medicinal chemistry and chemical biology.
