The project aims a) to analyze the effects of α2δ ligand voltage-dependent Ca²⁺ channels on blood pressure (BP) in spontaneously hypertensive rat, b) to study molecular mechanisms of its effect related to major alterations causing the hypertensive process and c) to evaluate its BP effect in other forms of experimental hypertension.
