At the IBP AS CR there is available the access to EDUROAM (wikiwww.eduroam.org) network. The eduroam network enables transparent interconnection of academic computer networks. End users usually connect their terminals (notebook, PDA, WiFi phone) by wireless network (WiFi) but connection is also possible by wire. The user with an account in the eduroam network can get network connectivity enywhere, where the eduroam network is accessible - academic institutions in Europe, Asia-Pacific and Canada. So a guest comming to the IBP can get a network connectivity. 
Connection to the eduroam network is accessible in the main building of the IBP. 
 



To connect to the eduroam network you will need:

  • User account - ask a network administrator in your home institution.
  • Appropriatelly configured notebook (WinXP SP3, Vista SP1) with installed latest security patches and with an up-to-date antivirus software - instructions how to configure your notebook are here (htmlpdf).
  • If there is missing AddTrust External CA Root among root certificate authorities, you can update root certificates (http://update.microsoft.com/), or download and install certificate of the root certificate authority AddTrust External CA Root.
