Our research is focused on organic fluorine, sulfur, phosphorus and silicon chemistry. We are developing new synthetic methodologies, synthesizing fluorine containing bioactive compounds and conducting research in organocatalysis and enantioselective synthesis. Utilization of perfluorinated solvents in various whole-cell biocatalyzed reactions and oxidations is also under investigation.
