Molecular Spectroscopy - What We Know ?

Circular dichroism spectroscopy - we provide measurements of electronic circular dichroism and UV/VIS absorption in solution, temperature dependences of ECD (5-85°C), studies of equilibrium states, kinetics experiments as well as measurements of melting temperatures of chiral systems. The field of interest includes folding of peptides, proteins and nucleic acids as well as the secondary structure of biopolymers. Magnetic circular dichroism can also be measured if necessary.

Vibrational spectroscopy – we perform standard measurements in solutions, KBr pellets and micropellets. More specialized techniques like temperature dependent measurements, GC-IR and attenuated total reflection (ATR) are available if needed. Samples can be measured also in aqueous solutions (D2O, H2O - mainly peptides and proteins).

We measure spectra of Raman scattering and Raman optical activity. Raman spectroscopy and Raman optical activity measured using excitation 532 nm

It is possible to provide fast spectroscopic characterization of natural or synthetic compounds and perform detailed band assignment and structural data analysis.
