Topic	Acyclic nucleoside phosphonates as monomers for the construction of modified oligonucleotides and/or nucleic acids

Abstract	Various acyclic nucleoside phosphonates will be synthesized for their subsequent incorporation into novel types of oligonucleotides and nucleic acids. Properties of the prepared oligomers (e.g. stability towards nucleases) and their potential use as antisense oligonucleotides will be studied.
