Linek, Lukáš. 2007. „Vliv volební účasti na zisky jednotlivých politických stran: případ voleb do Poslanecké sněmovny v roce 2006.“ Politologický časopis / Czech Journal of Political Science 14 (3): 205-223. ISSN 1211-3247.
Text analyses the effect of turnout on the party support of different parties in the Czech Republic. After introduction of the main theories and research strategies of partisan effects of turnout hypotheses concerning this issue are tested. The results show that higher turnout is advantageous for the parties whose voters lack strong party identification (ČSSD and the Green Party). On the other hand, it brings lower gains to parties with disciplined electorate (ODS, KDU-ČSL and partly also for KSČM).
