Research-service team MS organizes every second year MS courses (Miniškola MS) for the IOCB staff and students. The main goal of the courses is to provide our newcomer colleagues and students with information on our service work. The courses consist of lectures on mass spectrometry basics, spectra interpretation, services provided by the team and future plans and directions. If new instrumentation or software is available, company representatives are invited to deliver lectures on capabilities and a range of possible applications of the new technologies. There are also practical parts of the courses, mainly software or open access instrument training and laboratory sessions.
