Oddělení pro komeniologii a intelektuální dějiny raného novověku FLÚ AV ČR, v. v. i.

This lecture examines Blanquerna (1283) written in Catalan by Ramon Llull (1232–1316).
It is a utopia about 1) reconverting Christians, reforming Rome and all Christendom and 2) evangelizing infidels and pagans. This lecture applies critical theories of historicism, reception, genre, and rhetoric to an analysis of Blanquerna.
