Ve dnech 23. – 29. 8. 2015 se uskutečnil XXII. mezinárodní kongres historických věd (ICHS) v čínském Jinanu pořádaného Association of Chinese Historians, Chinese Academy of Social Sciences a Shandong University. Kongresu se mezi více než 2600 registrovanými participanty aktivně zúčastnila česká delegace včetně čtyř pracovníků ÚSD. Oldřich Tůma, Miroslav Vaněk a Pavel Mücke zde vystoupili s příspěvky v rámci Evening Session s názvem Change of Value – Value of Change: Transforming Societies in Global Perspective via Oral History“ (organizátor Miroslav Vaněk).
