Mlynář as chairman for the next two years and decided to welcome another two partners: the Institute of Nuclear Physics of the CAS, and the Institute of Materials Physics of the CAS.

The Czech Fusion Society was founded for the purpose of fostering cooperation and the sharing of information on fusion research and education. A significant facet of its activity shall be an annual meeting of the partners open to all with the presentation of the latest findings in fusion research in the Czech Republic.
