Research interest
Quantum chemistry and computational chemistry, non-covalent interactions,develpoment of new methods for calculation of noncovalent interactions, structure and dynamics of molecular and biomolecular clusters and biomolecules (DNA, DNA-proteins, proteins-ligands), hydrogen-bonding and improper, blue-shifting hydrogen-bonding, halogen bonding, In silico drug design.

Thesis adviser
PH directed altogether 26 Ph.D. students, 10 Diploma students and 10 postdoctoral fellows. At present he supervises 6 Ph.D. students, 2 Diploma students and 7 postdoctoral fellows.
