The depicted beetle was beaten from a blossoming hawthorn (Crataegus) in locality situated along the main road from Sparta to Tripoli on a mountain plateau (20 km S Tripoli, 900 m, Peloponnese peninsula, Greece).Collected by M.Hoskovec
