The main goal of the project is to develop a prototype optical pH meter for measuring biological samples in a microscopic scale . pH meter will operate in a pH range from 5.5 to 7.5 with a resolution of better than 0.1 pH with replaceable fiber probes with spatial resolution of 50 microns or better.
IPE carries out fundamental and applied research in the scientific fields of photonics, optoelectronics and electronics. In these fields, IPE generates new knowledge and develops new technologies.
