Conference Room B
The aim of the Colloquium is to facilitate the exchange of up to date information and knowledge among specialists in structural and multibody dynamics, in coupled interacting systems as aero-elasticity, hydro-elasticity, bio-mechanics, systems with feedbacks and mechatronics. The papers and its presentations will be divided into the three sections and focused on the next problems: : »»»
We are looking for a suitable candidate for the position of Research Fellow or Junior Research Scientist (depending on the qualification/experience of the candidate) to conduct research and development in the field of structure dynamics and vibrations and fluid-structure interactions under the guidance of senior scientists. »»»
The Institute of Thermomechanics is inviting you to two lectures of our colleagues from the Institute of Fluid Flow Machinery of the Polish Academy of Science, Gdańsk, which will be held on 6 December 2016 at 10:00 in the "club room" at Dolejškova 1402/52, 182 00, Prague 8. »»»
Distributed Energy Resources and Storage is a collaborative workshop involving scientists, power industry leaders and government officials to outline the future and role of distributed energy resources and storage solutions in ensuring secure energy and to discuss the promising topics for research into the same. »»»
The remarkable properties of shape memory alloys (SMA) that are utilized in a number of useful applications are due to a phase transformation between austenite and martensite. In many situations, the transformation does not proceed homogenously, but in the form of macroscopic transformation bands, i.e. in a highly localized manner. »»»
The Czech Society for Mechanics and the Institute of Thermomechanica of the CAS invites you to the lectore of Prof. Dr.-Ing. habil. Manfreda Bischoffa, Institut für Baustatik und Baudynamik, Universität Stuttgart. »»»
Zuzana Broučková received the "Outstanding Paper Award" for the best paper in the "Jets" session at the HEFAT 2016 conference in Spain, held on 11-13 July 2016. The paper was entitled: Z.
