Molorchus minor is a very common European species developing in coniferous trees. The adults frequently visit flowers.

The depicted male beetle was photographed on Norway spruce (Picea abies) log in Zbraslav (Prague, Central Bohemia, Czech Republic). The female was collected on Apiaceae flower in Broumy (Central Bohemia, Czech Republic).
