Like every year during the first week of November our institute opened its laboratories to general public. The visitors of the Aerodynamic Laboratory in Nový Knín were introduced to its research activities on November 4, 2008. Every visitor had the opportunity to visit the laboratories including the unique aerodynamic tunel with vacuum storage located in the former gold mine.
On November 7, 2008 the Institute of Thermomechanics opened its laboratories in Prague. The visitors and the students were invited to visit our laboratories with expert commentary provided by our scientists. Our visitors had the opportunity to view a short movie about our laboratories and the results of our research.
