The continued development and improvement of the Academy’s work was the main item of discussion at the XLIV Meeting of the Academy Assembly April 24, 2014 at the Municipal House in Vinohrady. Among invited guests were Tomáš Zima, Rector of Charles University in Prague, Senator Eva Syková, Jaromir Veber, Deputy Minister for higher education and research, Ministry of Education, Youth and Sports, and others. The Academy Assembly is the foremost priority decision-making body of the Academy of Sciences of the Czech Republic.
