Abstract	Project is focused on the synthesis of phosphonate monomers derived from 3´-amino-3´-deoxy and 5´-amino-5´-deoxyadenosine. These compounds will be introduced into the oligoribonucleotide strand and their influence on the hybridization properties and enzymatic stability will be studied. The ability of these oligoribonucleotides to activate RNase L or RNA interference will be examined.
