This project seeks to prevent serious security threats to the Czech state via organized crime and corruption by addressing the mechanisms by which those crimes take place. The project will design and propose legislative and non-legislative reforms for addressing the security risks that ensue from the lack of transparency in the lobbying of public officials, and in the financing of political parties, by foreign entities, undisclosed persons, and others that pose a potential security threat.

This article examines the recall process in Polish and Slovak local government, where disatisfied residents have already ousted from power dozens of mayors, often on the basis of perceived corruption or abuse of power. In these countries, the local recall is among the most important innovations supporting civic engagement.
Téměř každý den mediální zprávy přinášejí české veřejnosti příklady, jak jsou zvolení politici propojení s lobbisty a jejich rozhodnutí s podnikatelskými záměry. Přesto Česká republika stále postrádá legislativu, která by definovala lobbing, stanovila pravidla komunikace mezi lobbisty, zákonodárci a státními úředníky či zakotvila průhlednost těchto vztahů.
