Drug discovery and development from basic research through preclinical to clinical phases
Following the opening course in 2014 and very successful courses in 2015 and 2016, the University of Chemistry and Technology Prague (UCT Prague)
and IOCB Prague organize the 4th Prague Summer School "Advances in Drug Discovery", focusing on the whole process from discovery to drug marketing
on September 4-8, 2017. Experts from major pharma/biotech companies and academia will cover following topics:
- Target discovery
- General chemical approaches – medicinal chemistry
- Structure and In silico based drug design
- Lead structure characterization
- Precinical and clinical development
- Principles and examples of commercial drug development cycles
- Personalized medicine and related diagnostic
Scholarships for Ph.D. students and postdocs are available by 31st May 2017.
