New Management of the Institute of Contemporary History
Professor Miroslav Vaněk was elected a new director of the Institute for
Contemporary History of the Czech Academy of Science; he started working in
this post in June 2017. The office of deputy director is newly held by
Pavel Mücke, the scientific secretary is Lenka Krátká. As the third
director of the Institute, Miroslav Vaněk continues the work of his
predecessors, professor Vilém Prečan and historian Oldřich Tůma.
