On April 24, 2017 Dr. Hyung Taek Kim from the Advanced Photonics Research Institute (Gwangju, Korea) visited IPP in Prague.
Dr. Hyung Taek Kim from the Advanced Photonics Research Institute of the Gwangju Insitute of Science and Technology presented 4 petawatt laser upgrade, being nowadays the highest power laser in the world, and research programme (laser acceleration of charged particles, generation of intense gamma rays, nonlinear quantum electrodynamics etc.).
