We are looking for a suitable candidate for the position of Research Scientist for the CeNDYNMAT project.

Job description

• Simulation of crack propagation in porous materials
• Finite element implementation of advanced elasto-plastic and damage models using commercial simulation packages (ABAQUS, ANSYS)
• MATLAB programming
• Conducting laboratory experiments

Contract

• Fixed term 1-year contract
• Part-time contract 0.5 FTE
• Expected start date: July 1, 2017

Requirements

• PhD title + experience in the field, adequate publishing record
