Department of Topography
The Department is currently organising and carrying out art-historical and topographical research for two series of publications: Umělecké památky Prahy [The Artistic Heritage of Prague] and Umělecké památky Moravy a Slezska [The Artistic Heritage of Moravia and Silesia]. On the basis of the specialist interests of its staff members, it is involved in research into Czech, Central European, and world art from mediaeval times up until the 20th century as part of the research aims of the Institute as a whole.
