Annotation

SAFMAT is a strategic project of the Institute of Physics for strengthens the ability to conduct competitive interdisciplinary research on the border of physics, materials science, medicine, in the areas of characterization of surfaces and volume defects. Besides the preparation of optical crystals and thin films, it’s focused on analysis of their characteristics in order to understand the observed phenomena especially in area of scintillators, chemical sensors, optical and metallic materials, and biomaterials.
