Konference a workshopy

Ad hoc workshops are small two days workshops organized by authors of the crystallographic software Jana2006. The topics and dates are selected by participants in Jana web pages. A workshop is organized as soon as an overlap in subscribed topics is found. The topics of the 17th workshop are as follows: (INT1) Simple 3d structures; (INT2) Simple 4d modulated structures; (DIS) Disordered structures; (RIG) Application of rigid body; (TW) Twinning. The Institute of Physics AS CR hosts a multidisciplinary symposium, joining together five otherwise independent regular meetings (IUS, ISAF, IFCS, EFTF, PFM) that are all devoted to various applications of piezoelectric materials. The event is organized on the occasion of the 60^th anniversary of the UFFC (Ultrasonics, Ferroelectrics, and Frequency Control society).

ELI Beamlines announce that the ELI Beamlines Summer School (ELISS 2013) will be held in Prague, The Czech Republic from Sunday June 23rd, 2013 to Friday June 28th, 2013. The summer school targets students around the world to participate in seminars lead by distinguished academics and researchers.
