Establishment of Regional Computing Centre for Particle Physics in the Institute of Physics

Establishment of Regional Computing Centre for Particle Physics in the Institute of Physics in cooperation with the Institute management. The ceremonial opening of the Centre took place in November 2004. Centrum regularly increases its computing and storage capacities that are used by experiments ATLAS, ALICE, TOTEM, D0 and STAR. Centrum is a fully certified TIER2 centre of the international WLCG grid.
