Topic	Synthesis of novel types of nucleoside and nucleotide analogues with potential antiparasitic and antimycobacterial activity

Abstract	In connection with projects of the group, the topic of this Ph.D. project will be design and synthesis of novel types of nucleoside and nucleotide analogues. In the synthesis of target structures modification of sugar moiety and heterocyclic bases transformations will be used. Biological activity of the prepared compounds, mainly antiparasitic (Plasmodium falciparum) and antimycobacterial (Mycobacterium tuberculosis), will be studied.
