Main research interest
Theoretical bioinorganic chemistry, quantum chemistry, quantum and molecular mechanical (QM/MM) methods, organic reactivity, computational homogeneous catalysis, biomolecular design, protein–ligand interactions, computational electrochemistry, theoretical spectroscopy.

Hobbies
Music: playing guitar and flute.
Sport: basketball, long-distance running (2:48:04 at Prague International Marathon in 1998), cross-country skiing (2h 59min at Worldloppet event Jizerská 50 in 2017, 5h 22min in Vasaloppet 2012), triathlon (11h 52min at ironman distances - Slovakman 2007).
