We are looking for talented bachelor and master students to join the Bioinformatics group at IOCB Prague. The prerequisite is interest in bioinformatics,
molecular modeling and simulation methods, basic knowledge of molecular biology, biochemistry, physical chemistry and a certain degree of computer literacy.
We offer a stimulating work environment and interesting topics covering the following areas:
- description of properties of peptide and protein structures by molecular modeling
- development of bioinformatics tools for determining the stability of proteins and their mutation variants
- protein-protein interaction - properties and prediction
- design of protein structures for therapeutic purposes based on combining heterogeneous structural domains
- properties and description of unstructured proteins using bioinformatics methods
