CHRISTMAS 2017 – Information about opening hours
The library will be closed from 23 December to 1 January 2018.
For operational reasons, the library is also exceptionally closed on Thursday 21 December from 1 p.m. and on Fridy 22 December from 4 p.m.

New items – November 2017
Check out the news that came into our library collection in November.
As every month, we bring you a full list of new printed books along with 10 selected ones, which we want to drag your attention to. The chosen ones are displayed in the study, you can borrow or reserved them right away. They are also available in the Digital Library of the CAS via reserved computers in the library area.
Own place in study
Do you dream of your own place in our library?
The kind of place you can have all to yourself where you can leave the things you would otherwise have to carry around with you all the time?
Then lease one of our individual studies:
– a lockable space with a single study position designed for short-term lease
– the use of the study for the duration of library opening hours
– a lease for one, five or twenty opening days
New items – October 2017
New items overview for the October – it’s possible to view the whole list at once or have it sorted out by fields of knowledge.
A selection of ten interesting new arrivals is available for browsing in the study (without having to order them in advance) and it simultaneously possible to browse these publications in digitalised form on the computer reserved for work with the Digital library of the Czech Academy of Sciences. You can leaf through them there and possibly print out parts of them.
