Vroubenka americká (Leptoglossus occidentalis) je ploštice (Heteroptera) původní na západním pobřeží Severní Ameriky. V roce 1999 byla poprvé zjištěna v severní Itálii, odkud se velmi rychle rozšířila do okolních zemí (Španělsko, Francie, Švýcarsko, Německo, Rakousko, Maďarsko, Slovinsko, Chorvatsko) a v roce 2007 byla zaznamenána i v České republice. Vysává semena různých druhů jehličnanů.

The Western Conifer Seed Bug (Leptoglossus occidentalis) is a true bug, native to the western North American coast. In 1999 it was found in northern Italy for the first time in Europe: from there, it has quickly reached adjacent countries (Spain, France, Switzerland, Germany, Austria, Hungary, Slovenia and Croatia). In 2007 it has also been reported in the Czech Republic. The insect feeds on the seeds of various conifer species.
