Laboratory of Pathological Plant Physiology
Laboratory of Pathological Plant Physiology is a part of Institute of Experimental Botany of the Academy of Sciences of the Czech Republic. Main research topics of the lab these days are plant defence reactions after infection with pathogenic fungi or bacteria focused on the role of phytohormone signalling. Molecular mechanisms of the infections are being studied in several different pathosystems: oilseed rape (Brassica napus) – Leptosphaeria maculans, thale cress (Arabidopsis thaliana) – Pseudomonas syringae / Hyaloperonospora arabidopsidis / Botrytis cinerea.
