Radim Hladík is a postdoctoral researcher at Institute of Philosophy at Academy of Sciences of the Czech Republic in Prague and a former executive editor of the Theory of Science journal. His research interests currently focus on digital approaches to the study of scientific writing in social sciences. He is also interested in geo-epistemology (especially in theories of post-socialism and postcolonialism) or relationships between scientific and non-scientific forms of knowledge (namely between historiography and collective memory). Radim Hladík earned his M.A. in Media Studies at the Faculty of Social Sciences of Charles University in Prague, where he also received his PhD. in Sociology in 2011. He is also a member of Political Communication and Collective Memory research groups at Charles University and teaches at the Film and Television School, Czech Technical University, and University of Finance and Administration. In 2009-2010, he was a Fulbright visiting student researcher at the Department of Sociology at Columbia University in the City of New York and took part in several international conferences and study and research visits abroad. He is a member of Czech Digital Humanities Initiative.
