Adolf Filáček has been a member of the scientific staff of the Centre for Science, Technology, and Society Studies at the Institute of Philosophy CAS since 1993. In between 2002-2014 he served as the Head of the Centre. He represented the Institute of Philosophy in several international institutions and projects. His main research areas include: science and research policy; evaluation in research; statistical analysis and comparative studies in science-innovation-society relations.
