In March 2017, the Public Opinion Research Centre investigated views on the problem of indebtment. We surveyed the opinion on the level of indebtment among the Czech citizens and on the level of indebtment of the Czech state. With regard to these two fields of indebtment, we also asked questions about how serious a problem the current level of indebtment poses to the Czech people.

In the opinion poll carried out in March 2017 by the Public Opinion Research Centre, questions regarding attitudes of Czech citizens towards loans and debts were included. More specifically, the questionnaire asked surveyors about their opinion on acceptance of loans for housing, education, business, goods, a car, a vacation or Christmas presents. Furthermore, respondents were asked about their difficulties in repaying debts, if they (or their household) currently had any.
