Project: ARISE

The monitoring systems of the Institute of Atmospheric Physics (IAP), particularly microbarograph network and Doppler ionosphere measurement network will be incorporated to the International European monitoring network. Unified standards and the measurement unification will be developed. Scientifically the project is focused on studies of atmospheric waves in the middle atmosphere using microbarographs and other techniques. IAP will among others add ionospheric extension. This project realizes co-financing of the 7th RF EU project ARISE.
