In its regular February survey Public Opinion Research Centre further examined whether people think that politicians are interested in the views of citizens, and whether in the opinion of the Czech public, people have certain opportunities to influence the public sphere.

Regarding the interest of politicians in the views of citizens, the vast majority (82%) of the Czech public thinks that only minority of Czech politicians is interested in people's opinion. 14% of the population believe that in the views of citizens is interested none of Czech elected politicians.

Within the possibilities to influence the public sphere has occurred shift in a positive direction in all researched spheres, which is the most evident in the area of ​​solving problems in respondents’ village or town.

Also assessing the potential to influence public sphere is in all analyzed aspects related to the assessment of living standards of respondent's household, while people with good living standards are more likely to feel they can influence public sphere.

Respondents evaluated overall approach of the Czech government to social situation of families with children in the Czech Republic. Next citizens commented on specific measures related to social policy of families.

According to the February survey of CVVM, 37% of people evaluate the current economic situation in the Czech Republic as good, 42% view it as neither good nor bad, and 19% consider it to be bad. 52% of Czechs evaluate the living standard of their household as good, 13% consider it to be bad, and 35% characterize it as neither good, nor bad.

In February survey, the Public Opinion Research Centre focused on evaluation of Bohuslav Sobotka's government. 32% of Czechs are satisfied with the person of Prime Minister, 58% are dissatisfied, 31% are satisfied with government's performance and 58% are not. Government's program 36% of Czechs evaluate positively, 38% hold the opposite stance. Communication with public (30% satisfied / 59% dissatisfied) and personal composition of Sobotka's government (25% satisfied / 63% dissatisfied) are areas in which predominantly critical evaluation of public.

A third (33%) of people believe that for the income of their household they can buy or pay less than a year ago, 53% believe that the real income of their households is about the same as a year before, and 11% of respondents said that their real income during the last year has increased.
