Abstract |
DNA bearing reactive functional groups in major or minor groove will be prepared by polymerase incorporations of modified nucleoside triphosphates. Bioorthogonal reactions of these groups will be studied, e.g. reactions changing the size and bulkiness of the substituents for switching or triggering of interactions of DNA with proteins or transcription.
